He makes the use of storyboard to carve up sketch, making it easier for students  to learn from   the   drafts .   He   also   encourages  his students to probe into the nature of arts and engage   in   great   quantity  of   literatures  to intensify   their   observation  of  objects.      For those students leaning arts education, Zeng teaches them how to appreciate a painting  and its   different    levels   of   beauty,   and   how  to analyze the arrangement from clear cut to sophistication - factors  from  the  form,  idea , color, technique, delight,  and wonder, to moist, arid ,  thickness ,   thinness ,   lightness  and darkness.    He hopes  every  student  is a fan of arts and is able to appreciate it; with those vanguards of arts,  he wishes  that  arts can be an essential part of our daily life.

Zeng's artistic work rests mainly on watercolor  for subject of nature.  He is a big fan of nature  and travels  constantly; after residing in   Taitung ,  the   ocean  became  his   best companion.   Zeng enjoys the beauty of ocean's magnificence  and   transformation;  he   also takes great interest in ocean's  ecological philosophy and concludes: "waves do not come in parallel but triangle  shape, displaying a permanent  force in the midst of unvarying propagation;  ocean   is  not  a  gypsy  to  roam about, but a wise man within fluctuation to symbolize  the   nature   order."     Undoubtedly, ocean   is  an  ideal  subject   for  Zeng's  never¬ ending creation.

Zeng's  work embodies a style that sits on the fence between  realism and abstractionism; through  observation and his own thoughts, he reorganizes the nature and expresses his internal humane  concern, attaining an ideal effect.  To Zeng, creation is a process  of thinking and recreation, as well as a philosophy. "There are hundreds of thousands ways to manifest paintings, it is crucial to employ the way that one truly enjoys. By immersing oneself  in the painting, one is able to reaffirm him/herself' Zeng points out.  "Recreation" and "self'  are two essential elements  in Zeng's  work to present  authentic delight; he draws materials from Taitung  for his work on nature,  which mirrors his genuine  self through  Zen.  Zeng indicates the importance of artistic conception in planning one's life, as Taitung  encompasses the view and landscape that go beyond  description by word, but it is when one begins  drawing the view, s/he properly senses the true pleasure. In line with his creation, Zeng  is also  interested in the  study  of materials, such  as the  experience on paper  quality, discover of unfading watercolor substance, how  to employ  plastic substance, how to prevent work composed of transparent watercolor from diffusing in water, and how to mingle  Chinese  ink and watercolor. Those studies  enable Zeng to further  his creations and those who wish to advance watercolor techniques.

Zhuang Zhou, a highly respectful Chinese  philosopher, has said: 'The heaven and the earth show their beauty with no words."  It is the calling and mission of an art educator  and creator, such  as Zeng,  to display the grant  beauty  of the heaven  and the earth.   Through  his interpretation of the nature,  we therefore have something to rely on and feel the love of arts.

Being the judges  of several  art exhibitions and competitions, Zeng's  spectacular work on this exhibition lead us to see, to listen  to and to value the ocean and mountain, and to love the land we live and grow up in.
